The flower print color selection in this bathing suit is absolutely beautiful. The colors are what caught my attention, and prompted me to select it to have and take on an upcoming trip. Much of my wardrobe is focused around black, so I stepped out of my box when I chose this tankini set. And I’m glad I did! The suit arrived quickly, and I anxiously opened it. I was immediately impressed by the quality and workmanship of the two pieces. The colors are just as vibrant and beautiful in person, as they appeared online. The fabric is a nice weight and not thin or flimsy, like some swimwear can be. There’s a nice stretch to the fabric, and the stitching is well done, with no hanging/loose threads. The design of the ruched v-neck is flattering, and the halter ties are a good length….not so long they tickle the middle of your back, yet long enough to tie a nice bow. Most importantly, after trying it on, I laundered it (hand washed and laid out to dry), and it did not affect the colors or the fit. As for the fit, I chose a size 3xl because my busty body. My measurements were on the upper end of the size small measurements on their size chart, so I figured I might be able to do either. I probably could have worn a smaller, but I think it would have been snug in places. The size fits and because of the stretch, it’s not tight, but hangs nicely with the ruching. I’d personally rather have it a little big, instead of it being notably small and hugging my body. All in all, I am VERY pleased with this suit, and if I didn’t already have a second suit (with a black background) to take on my trip! I feel this bathing suit set is of good quality and should last quite awhile for me. I don’t live close to a beach or natural water source, nor do I frequent the local swimming pool, so it will be lucky to get a yearly dip in any water, other than a washing tub. If I have any additional comments on wearing the suit after my trip to the beach and resort pools, I will post an update.
